I also have small cell lung cancer, I have had only 2 bouts of stomach poblems.I found that if I am going to the bathroom for BM on a regular basics that don't feel as bad stomach wise, but I do have a tendencey to be constipated on days I have Chemo.( 3 days every 21 days). My Dr. now has me to start stool softnes on the day before treatment and to continue untill treatment is finished. It seems to help alot.As others has said on days that I can not eat alot I drink, drink, and drink some more. Please try to stay positive and Pray, I know this has help me alot. Really everyone says that I am doing great, no weight loss. some hair loss, but not all. energy level is good. When first diagnosied I was told that I was 4th stage. Had my first scan last Wed. since I have started chemo, will get results tommorrow. Monday the 3rd will be my 6th round of chemo. Hoping will be my last. Oh well at least I will probably feel good during the hoildays. Good luck and I will pray for you, Hang in there together will win.

I found that Benadryl helped the stomach a lot. I have heard that some people use an illegal substance which is smoked, although I would never personally recommend such a thing. But they claim that if nothing else does the job....too bad you're not in Washington state or Colorado.

When it comes to eating I have relied on Ensure to keep my nutrition up. I only lost about 10 pounds through chemo and my transplant. Some days I only drank ensure and nothing else while, even now, I drink it in addition to regular food. The other staple is a sports drink from Costco.
