It is so sweet of you to ask this question! Just listen to her when she needs to talk, without looking for answers....they may not be answers but cancer patients are SCARED and need to vent sometimes. Take her out when she is up to it, cheerful places, nice restaurants, parks for walking outside if weather permits, movies! Cancer patients need distractions as well. And food, she probably has lots of chemical changes in her mouth so something that taste good one hour will taste lousy the next! Just the way it is with chemo sometimes, she isn't being moody, and it can last for months after treatment is finished...so bring her foods that she likes but don't be disappointed if she changes her mind! Help her with work, help her with housework, the chemo is beyond fatiguing and it is hard to get out of bed some days. Take her out to get a 2nd opinion if she likes, support her ideas, love her, tell her you love her......all you can do is be there and be patient! We can appear selfish and moody sometimes, but we are fighting for our lives and it just the way it is. Good luck and blessings to you and your family!
