  About 2 dozen Ovarian Cancer survivors gathered last weekend in Fort Lauderdale for the 9th Annual Ovarian Cancer Get Together. We had an amazing time!

  Father/Daughter Vacation 2015! My Dad and I took Cancun by storm. He's a Prostate Cancer survivor and I'm battling Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. So much fun!

  Oh No (Other): A month ago, I headed to DC for the 4 day Ovarian Cancer National Conference. The day after the conference, I woke up with the worst headache imaginable. I called my South Florida oncologist who advised me to go to the hospital. I don't remember ever getting there.

  I was there for 11 days. My brain had started bleeding from the blood thinners I've been on since I developed a clot right after surgery last summer.

  When I was finally released, I had trouble with balance and walking. I've since figured it out and am back home in the Miami area.

  The good news? I'm STILL cancer free!
