Procedure or Surgery (Surgical Biopsy): I had a surgical biopsy done on my throat to confirm the exact type of cancer. I had a needle aspiration which detection a presence of cancer prior to the surgery but could not confirm the exact type.
The surgery was very fast and felt like 'soar throat' after the procedure. I was restricted to a simple liquid diet for two days after the surgery.
