I am so sorry the IL-2 did not work for you. I also received it and have been cancer free for almost 11 years. I hope they can find something to put you into remission.

Clinical Trial (Interleukin II): Plan was to receive up 15 treatments of this drug every 8 hours. At the 11th treatment I advised “No More. “ they proceeded to give me one more treatment. My body shut down, coded twice. In coma for a period of a week. Family was called in, I was not expected to make it. After 6 weeks in hospital I survived. Was put on the drug Votrient. Help immensely until it did not.

Shocked to hear that your doctor did not want to stop at the 11th dose, as very few people can tolerate more than about 10. Where was that, and how much experience did this doctor have with HD IL2? So glad that you are back, and per an earlier post, it seems that you had some response, although limited with IL2. Am I correct on that?
