Loss (Lost loved one): The cancer came back again after 6 months, we were in the midst of tests to see how much and where when he died of a sudden hemorrhage.
Honestly, I think that the oncologist's rating of stage III should have been followed, assuming it must have spread in the 2 years of doing nothing.
Don't delay diagnosis it may save your life. Wish they had done chemo with the radiation. AFter surgery he got too weak when it came back for chemo.over 8 years ago -

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): AFter the doctor said the cancer was gone completely, the hoarseness came back and surgery was necessary to remove all the new growths. Thought they had it all at the time.

Radiation (External radiation ): The throat became very sore after awhile. Right after radiation eating a big meal, like a Egg McMuffin was fine, it didn't hurt but by evening soft food was necessary. By morning it was not as sore.

Oh No: After watching it for 2 years, finally got a biopsy. The ENT thought it was stage II but the oncologist thought it was III vocal chord cancer. They agreed on 2 1/2
