Hi. This is Orah in Philadelphia. I am deciding whether to do chemotherapy. It would be TC. I wish people would say what chemo they are doing in their posts. I have been told that in my situation without further treatment (I had a bilateral mastectomy), 23 people would have a recurrence. With hormone therapy (aromatase), it is reduced to 11. If chemotherapy is added, it is reduced by 2-3 more. Given the cognitive side effects I still have from the first time I had chemo 20 years ago, given my age of 69, given the risks of TC, 2-3 people doesn't seem to justify the risks. Any opinions?

Decision Point: I will be seeing an oncologist about chemotherapy. I am wondering if the benefits are worth the risk of side effects at my age. My oncoDX score is 29. Exactly how much of a change would occur with the chemotherapy.
