Decision Point (I have decided that I would do TACE and RFA if there is a reoccurance and it is needed but no Nexavar.I would consider a Phase III clinical trial in the futuee): I feel that I am 68, and I have had a pretty good run. I do not want lto take Nexavar. i don't feel that since there is no definitive cure at tnis time, and Nexavar is pallative, I will let nature take it's course.

Celebration (Remission): I was just told by my doctor at the transplant clinic that I show no signs of reoccurance of the tumor, and so new tumors in the liver. He now feels that 6 month triple cat scans and blood tests are what is recommended (Oh Boy) and of course I will do that gladly. No recommendation of using Nexavar which I do not want to take.

Procedure or Surgery (Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE)): I had both TACE and RFA in April of 2011. The TACE went very well, and the results of the RFA were great also, but I received a severe burn to my diaphragm and was in severe pain for about 4 weeks. It was difficult to even breathe. Now there is intermittent pain, probably from scar tissue on both the diaphragm and the capsule of the liver where the ablation was performed. I get very scared when this pain seems to more frequent
