Hi Gloria...just wanted to check on you. Cancer has so many unknowns. It helped me to make the right decision once I felt comfortable with the right docter.
I hope you have a good support team. That does help. -

Hi Nancy...my hair started coming out when I started my second round of chemo. Since it was long, I had it cut short and three days later I had it shaved, because of how quickly it was falling to the floor. I didn't realize how broken I felt until I saw myself bald.
When my head was shaved I had a strange feeling that something was crawling all over my scalp. It must of been the nerve endings.I had a wig from the hospital and bought one to before losing my hair. My hear was so heavy ever time I tried on a wig. After wearing the wigs my head became very sensitive and I started getting headaches. Caps didn't work for me because the bald still showed from the back. Coming from a job of design, I designed Cappelleez head wear. When the first one was made it worked great for me. It made such a differance for me now it is my driving force.
It offered so much comfort, coverage and fashion. It was what I needed. My headaches went away and this was an "easy" put on my head during the day and I slept in the cozy ones at night. Now I am blessed to have them at hospitals/boutiques across the United States. I have a Cappelleez web site too.
We all have our own way of finding what best fits our needs.
I think for most ladies loosing their hair is very hard. My heart goes out to you. Cancer is wicked and it is the one thing that I hate.Blessings
