So you didn't get to meet her?

I got completely ready to go to church yesterday and had the same problem. Car wouldn't start :( Gotta love car trouble. (or not)

Good thing you posted this picture lady. Last time we saw each other I believe you had purple hair , I barely recognize you with the pink. Either way you look great.

We have to be to breakfast at 7:30. Opening ceremony at 8:45. First lecture at 9:45 for one hour on New Treatments for Ovarian Cancer. Stream away if you can. I do not think they stream the breakout sessions. Do not know for sure. There is another lecture at 2:00 on Immunotherspy for Ovarian Cancer Present and Future you may be interested in.

Text Paul on his phone about your plans. I have been messaging you on my tablet but do not want to take it into the sessions. I will check messages though during the lunch break.

Yesterday's chemo selfie. I've been documenting my crazy cancer journey.

      Thanks! I'm doing well, Greg.

Throatless, I've been on this crazy cancer journey for 5 1/2 years now so I've had most of the possible side effects. The drugs I'm currently taking aren't too too horrible but I do have some days that are worse than others. I keep my spirits up by planning fun vacations, chatting with my kids and grandkids, staying in touch with friends around the world and snuggling with my dog, Ozzy.

Kalindria, I just curious, do you also have a cat named "Crazy Train"? If not, you really need one, or another dog named that.

I do not have a cat as Nick is opposed. I'd love another curly-coated retriever but chances of it being named "Crazy Train" are slim to none. You do know that animals tend to live up to the names we give them, right?

kalindria, if you are feeling up to it, you can watch the conference, they are live streaming it. Go to ocrahope.org for further details. I slept right through that earthquake this morning. Seattle reminds me quite a bit of SF. Take care.

I got a couple of emails with the conference link. That's a lovely service they provide. Glad you slept through the earthquake. I was awake after my chemo but it was no big deal, even tho the epicenter was only about 20 miles away from us.

I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow night - definitely not going to feel like dinner - but perhaps a tea? If you still have my number, you can give me a text. I have numbers in my phone from last year for you and your hubby but am not sure which # belongs to whom.

Seattle reminds me a bit of SF too. Both lovely cities.

Restaurant ideas (in case you need or want them) If you're looking for a old school type steak house, our favorite is the Metropolitan Grill. The bar at the Met is a fun place to grab a drink too if that's your style. Salare is an amazing place serving modern cuisine and local foods created by a famous local chef. Tulio is a yummy Italian place. Aqua by El Gaucho is great seafood with a huge wine list with huge waterfront windows. The Crab Pot is another wonderful seafood restaurant - paper-covered tables and bibs for diners.

That's all my brain can handle right now. I do hope I can get to see you tomorrow. Maybe Lisa too.
