Hi Stan! I do have a ton of questions. How was the FCR? I don't know what to expect on Tuesday. I know everyone is different but I'll take any advice I can get. How was the big island? I love it there. It's my favorite island.

Have you heard of Imbruvica? I went on a trial 4 years ago before this drug was FDA approved and it worked great for me. If you can find a trial with Imbruvica, it may be good for you.
I was diagnosed 10 years ago...went through two of treatments before getting on this trial. My trial is run out of Ohio State but it was a small trial (87 patients) and is closed.
There is another drug similar to Imbruvica that was called CAL 101. It goes by another name now but it also has excellent results.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.

I hope you are doing well today.
I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you I was diagnosed at age 46 too. I am now 55 and living a normal life. In fact, I was on the Big Island earlier this month.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to provide my thoughts and experiences. All the best.
Are you starting a six month FCR treatment cycle? If so, I'd be happy to call you to give you my thoughts, if you are comfortable with providing me your number.
I had FCR 9 years ago so it may not be as fresh as other peoples you have met with.
ps-- the big island was great, but all us "mainlander" are jealous of people who live in Hawaii :)
No problem with on-line communications. I understand the concern with people you met over the internet.
I wish you the best on your treatment. As they have probably told you, make sure your house is as clean as possible and limit or be very sensitive of contact with people. Getting an illness during your cycle is a concern.
All the best.
