my wife is near the end in terms of her health and capabilities to lead a "normal" daily life. She is losing the mental battle - a big struggle. The cancer has spread into her eyes and she is going blind - a rare mets - and as you can imagine - devastating to her. Her primary mets that she is struggling with is lung (tough on the breathing and saps your energy) and mets to the bones in her head.

What is on my mind mostly - how can I make her remaining days "good days". What more can I do to make this a reasonably easy journey for her. What can/should I do to help my soulmate die a graceful death. Cancer is a monster that I cannot seem to slay.

Decision Point (Other): we have had many decision points about treatment, careers, our children, our finances, etc etc etc...this disease has touched every corner of our lives. Ask if you are interested in my experience - happy to share.

Radiation: again, radiation is great - when it works properly. Ask about the experiences we have had.
