never stop fighting for your life.....look for a second, third and fourth opinion if needed till you find those committed with your cure and not with your cancer......ask your doctors about gene mutation test if they think it would be worth in your case.....I have mine done at Foundation One and they tested my tumor for more than 280 mutations......with this results they can created a target treatment based on drugs that showed effective for the specific mutations found in my tumor that sometimes are drugs used for other type of tumor but based on the mutations found could work for my tumor also.....additionally to help to determine drugs to be used in chemo protocol they can also be helpful with side effects and others.....ask your doctors...................wishing you all the best and sending all my positive energies to you....God bless you and continue blessing all of us

I have not been ther myself but heard good things about them but if your not happy or want a second or thrid opinion go for it.
My self I am at Cancer Care Center of South Texas so far so good!
I might suggest you talk to 1.) MD Anderson in Houston,I am told they are #1 in the USA and know around the world they are very very good.Check the out on line they have a page. (2.) Next I would suggest you talk to MAyo Clinic in Scottsadle, Arizona they have a good cancer program there.
I know for me if I have issues or something comes up for me I am going to MD Anderson.

Well hope this helps. If you have any quetion lets us all know we will more than happy to help.

I was told the same thing by my first oncologist. He suggested that I get into a clinical trial. I went to UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. That was in July 2013. I got into a trial with immunotherapy. It is the best thing that ever happened to me. The treatments do NOT make me sick at all - none of those horrid side effects that I got from "regular" chemo. At this point, the tumors are still there (I have stage IV lung cancer) BUT they are not growing and they are not spreading. And I feel great.

Besides the fact that the test drug is working well for me (and everyone else in the study from what I understand), the people at UTSW are so special. The doctors, nurses, aides, receptionist ... all of them. Despite seeing thousands of patients, they know me by name and they always act happy to see me. That means a lot.

I'm in the same boat but have realized that they don't actually know exactly when we are going to die. It could be six months it could be 5 years. I was told that from here on, every day is a gift and that's how I treat it. I won't go down without fighting at least to be alive and have as much fun as I can. God Bless you and ~Never Lose Hope~

I am sorry to hear you have been told to give up but DON"T there are many treatments available go for more opinions. If you decide not to continue fighting let that be your decision not the doctors. I have heard so many stories from people who have been told it was over and years later they are still here to tell the story. I turned to Cancer Treatment Centers of America when I could not get answers from my local doctors and I am very pleased with the service and care they have provided. May God bless you and be with you

If it is definite that regular medicine can't help you, go natural. Nothing to loose.
Enjoy whatever time you have with your loved ones, make memories. Go happy!
      You are in my prayers
