I had a single mastectomy one month ago for DCIS. My pathology reports all came back with good news, so I do not have to have any further treatment. I wish you the same good fortune. Decision Point: After 2 mammograms, two biopsies, 2 ultrasounds and an MRI, I have decided on a double mastectomy. I am still waiting on the results from my genetic test but my mom and grandmother had BC.
