    StacM, I had the exact same experience when I had a tumor removed from my left thigh. The PT really helped but I am still dealing with swelling and flexibility issues. Regards Kisco Kid.

    Oh No (Problem with doctor): The oncological surgeon was not a good communicator, expectations and collateral issues were not explained, the hospital was/is disoganized...i moved on after a 2nd opinion for my therapy phase. Kisco Kid

    Radiation (External radiation ): I'm being treated with IMRT radiation therapy at Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSK) in NYC, so far so good!

    Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): I did not take the surgery seriously enough when deciding which hospital to go with, I was lulled / lulled myself into thinking I had a common sarcoma tumor, it turns out to be SEF which is very uncommon and potentially very aggressive cancer. I should have pursued 2nd/3rd opinions at the pre-resection phase, water under the bridge. Kisco Kid
