Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy and radiation combined): After i had the injection port inserted i had to get the tattoes....THAT was as painful as the port. The chemo was not as bad as they preparted me for. I cut my waist length hair of before it fell out then for some reason i didnt lose my hair..never got sick to the point of vomiting and my blood work was always good..the radiation what HORRIBLE !!! I had 30 rounds of radiation and on the 15 round i told my dr i WAS done !!! stop it now....but they and my daughters and my husband persuaded me to keep fighting..I dont know how i did but i did.......i will be (praying) after my scan next week i will be celebrating my 2 year cancer free birthday. I got 2 cataracts around the same time so half of my treatment was spent being legally blind and depepnding on everyone to drive me around.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): I went into surgery not knowing i had cancer, it was outpatient surgery. My ob/gyn had been treating me for hemoroids for ten years which i found out where anal condoloma. On the way home from the hospital i started itching and breaking out in hives.......comne to find out my WARNING bracelet didnt get read and they gave me vicodin.my prescription also said vicodin to which im allergic to.so my daughter called the surgeons office and told them of the mistake, they told her to just give me ibupropin that i needed to come and see him the next day..i told them my appointment wasnt until the next monday and they replied it was important for me to come in then NEXT day..so we went to my appointment and the surgeon walked in and said....WELL YOU HAVE CANCER !! So he helped me pick a chemo and radiation dr.
