I think I missed the news about your friend earlier. I was wondering about him. My heart goes out to you for what he went through that took his life, and for you losing your friend to cancer so young. It is so frustrating that there is not more available for this cancer.

Dad is under the care of hospice, and his liver has started to fail this past month. They're managing all the symptoms, and we're hoping for more good days than bad.

    Hey Freebird:"-)
Happy holidays to you and your family.
Did your dad opted for a stent? We are going to OSU day after christmas for that procedure. My friend's billerubin is still quite high about 8.0. We need it to be around 2-3 to be considered for clinical trial. He feels terrible.

Hi Kristina. I hope you enjoy a wonderful time also with whomever you choose to spend it, and that your friend is able to find relief. He did not yet consider a stent, as the jaundice is mild at the moment.
