Procedure or Surgery (Implant chemotherapy port): The port has made chemo so much easier I don't even feel the stick when they put the needle through to the port!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Sept 29 2014 my last chemo for awhile. All the vomiting has stopped. I can eat normal. I have to stay on the chemo pills until Oct 21 then stop and nothing for a month. Go back Nov 13 for tests and see the surgeon on the 14th. Praying it has shrunk for surgery otherwise another round of chemo and we start all over again! It is going to be a long wait!

Best of luck with the preparation for surgery. Getting ready for my husband's surgery was scary in a way, but I was so glad to get it behind us. I'll say a prayer that it goes well for you!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): The first week of Sept 2014 I received my 2nd chemo treatment since the first one made me so sick thy reduced it by 10 percent and gave me more nausea medication. I also received fluids before we begin so that I am not dehydrated, It seemed to have worked. Less vomiting but the pain from the chemo and the fatigue makes me where I can't manage doing anything,

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): This was my first chemo in August 2014 and I had already been vomiting from the cancer. I ended up going into the hospital to get fluids. I spent about two weeks in bed after this session.

Procedure or Surgery (lung biopsy): I had a lung biopsy in Aug 2014 to make sure the cancer from my stomach had not went to my lungs. Came back negative! Biopsy was a long recovery because I had started chemo so it took longer to heal. Plus at the time I was vomiting from the stomach cancer which didn't help. I survived though!
