I am on the extremely good Prolia shot twice a year and Caltrate with D tablets both for osteopenia. I like Oikos yogurt and I eat a lot of that. But that's just because I like it. Since taking the Prolia and the Caltrate with D, I have nice fingernails. They used to be flimsy and break all the time. Do not give up on Arimidex because your doctors can treat you for the side effects. They tell me it is so important to take it. Five years is what they plan.

Pink, my oncologist Dr. Nadeem Ikhlaque, and my ob/gyn surgeon Dr. David Moore, Franciscan St. Francis, Indianapolis, IN (both very famous) agree that I am to continue to take Arimidex after my full hysterectomy. Before the hysterectomy, I was at a 3%-6% chance of recurrence of my breast cancer. The Arimidex lowers the odds of recurrence. There was no cancer with the hysterectomy, only an orange sized cyst.

Thank you Lady. I appreciate the info. Not looking forward to estrogen blockers as I already have osteopenia, but it is what it is. Will you take Arimidex for five years or more than five? Best wishes to you.
