Been there, done that, but it will quit draining and then you will heal faster, but I admit, it wasn't pleasant at first.

Procedure or Surgery (Double Mastectomy): still having serous fluid buildup at left breast site - has been drained 4 x already - not a big deal until the pressure of the fluid causes some discomfort, Seeing an ot for help with this - compression, massage etc

Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): not curable but treatable - hard words to hear and to continue to process early on when you are not sure if the treatments undergoing are going to be successful. This is a chronic illness they say

I'm having to process this now..10 years ago had stage iiib breast cancer and survived chemo.& radiation. So don't really fear chemo, but my care giving grown children (45 & 49) are very frightened. It's hard for them to accept
the inevitable. My husband (a Parkingson's patient is very depressed and angry. I can distract myself with reading and playing on the computer. It's the effect my illness is having on my family and friends that gets to me.
