Oh No (Cancer is back/Recurred ): Results of wide excision show cancer is still present. Doctor is suggesting amputation of the finger.

Procedure or Surgery (Wide excision surgery): Had a wide excision of my finger where the tumor was at the same time as my sentinal node biopsy. Path reports show that cancer still present.

Procedure or Surgery (Sentinel lymph node biopsy): Had a sentinel lymph node biopsy done. 5 nodes were removed from my arm pit area. Results were negative.

Oh No (Diagnosed): Had what was thought to be a cyst removed from just under the surface of the skin on my finger. Turned out to be acrospiroma or porocarcinoma. I'm told these two things are synonymous. Rare tumor of the sweat gland.
