      How did your radiation treatments go? I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy instead of a lumpectomy/radiation because of the fear of it showing up in the other breast. I see BC has shown up in other family members. Did you get the BRCA gene testing?

      I don't know what you're using for lotion but I used a ton of Aquaphor. Slathered it on right after each treatment. Had good luck with my very fair skin. For an escape I listened to a book on CD on the way to and from radiation treatments. Radiation is tough...do whatever you find a guilty pleasure!

      massage is a great idea, so is mediation and energy work. If you can afford it maybe a week-end at a spa or hotel. DH and I try to get up to Kripalu, a yoga and health center, in the Berkshires every few months. We stay for 3-4 days. they offer, yoga, mediation, excellent "healing arts", massage, energy work, etc. DH takes a program, I use want to bliss out in R&R.

      You may want to see if there are yoga, Pilates, meditation classes near where you live. Also maybe if you can afford it and have the time, take a few days off.

      I also loaded up an iPod with relaxing music which I listen to when I'm stressed and before I go to sleep at night.

      Meditation is helping me now. I do 10 mins daily. I set a timer, close my eyes, and I focus on my breathing to stop thoughts entering my head.
