I meant to say that the mammogram missed a smaller tumor in the same breast and another spot in the other breast. Before surgery they did another ultra sound and it still did not show the small tumor. Best bet is to get the mri guided biopsy. Take care.

Thank you so much for your responses, it's so helpful to hear others' experiences, and as I'm waiting for a response from my oncologist (to put in the order for the MR guided biopsy) your responses have reaffirmed my instinct! My onc is comfortable with having me return in 6 months for a follow-up MRI, I am not comfortable waiting that long. If I can have certainty it's benign (or if not, catch it earlier) it's completely worth it. Thank you very much!!

If I smell the perfume that my wife was wearing when I was in treatment, I have a flashback. Same with smelling heparin, I flash back to the chair.

My husband bought a.New car while I was doing chemo. Every time I get in his car I have a flashback and instant nausea. Ugh.

There are many people who are sensitive to smells. I notice a lot of signs telling people to limit their fragrances. I personally had to leave a meeting because I put hand lotion on my dry, cracked hands. I had to wash my hands and return with them in pain. I finally found Lubriderm, which seems to be more tolerable to people.
