Loss (Lost loved one): My husband who was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer the first of August, 2012 passed away January 21, 2013. He went into remission around Christmas time, but soon realized his cancer spread to the menegies of the brain. He survived 5 days after that diagnosis. My wish for anyone going through this whether it be the patient or the family and caregiver is you express every moment you have left the love for your friends and family.

My husband has stage 4 stomach cancer, with metastisis to the bone. We are currently receiving chemo every other week. We have had approximately 8 treatments, last week went in for a new egd and the biopsy has showed no cancer or anything. Has anyone ever had these results? Our only concern is could it be a false return on the test as he came off of chemo on Thursday and had the test on Friday and he receives high doses of steroids.

Hello, sorry your husbanc is having trouble getting the results. Have you asked the Dr. about the possibility of the test being wrong? PS a tip for you, if you will repost this in the questions tab at the top of the page more people will be able to see it.
Hope the test comes back like you need it to!
