I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Are you under going treatment? All i know is I use to push myself to stay positive. Never watched the news or anything depressing. Spent time with my grandchildren, They would always give my the will to live and continue to fight. Do you have someone you talk to?

llmclyn shared an experience
Side Effects: Good morning What Next family, This week I found myself in a medical marijuana dispensary on Pico Blvd. because my dr. gave me a affadavit stating properties in mj can ease side effects of chemo & help to improve my appetite during my chemo cycles. Well, I got brownies, tea and a chocolate bar & so far they are helping with quality of life after chemo! Thank You Lord! Only edibles though.

Good Morning leslieminer. I am a patient who was diagnosed Xmas of 2011. I am 56 & learning to take 1 day at a time by faith. I am trying to get into the habit of encouraging myself each day, so I keep a positive outlook & perspective. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. llmclyn

When I was newly diagnosed 12/11. I did alot of research on the internet. American Cancer Socieity a great source, the National Lung Cancer Partnership Alliance.Org is another great one. Try to arm yourself with recent information & stay hopeful. Also the Bible is an excellent source to arm myself in this battle. GOD bless you.

Hi Sunshine, I am Lisa, llmclyn and just getting on the wall. I was diagnosed on Xmas day of 2011, after thinking I had the flu. Last year was surgery & chemo & this year has been radiation & more chemo, but I am hopeful & look forward to supporting others going through what I did, as well as getting support from you all.
