Lolu, keep in mind that if the PET scan demonstrated an SUV score under 2.5 then that nodule could be anything from a cyst, a polyp, even scar tissue. If your oncologist didn't mention it then in all probability...it didn't rise to the level of concern and has a low SUV score.

I have been going thru this same problem so I saw the add for Cancer Center of America where they say beside the onocologist-they have the nutritionist, multiple advisors and people checking on all aspects of your well being---very appealing! my father went there in 1980's and they used vitamins along with traditional. But even though I pay extra $200.00 monthly for medicare supplement -they seem not to be returning my calls. Sounded so good -going try Univ of Houston MDAnderson next which actually deals with this type of lymphoma-mantle cell. We do not need the extra stress of uncaring, rigid doctoring.

Cookie48...I have to say you described CTCA to a tee. I wish I could have warned you but I am glad you are seeking M.D. Anderson.

Definitely need to call your oncologist and have it checked out. Hopefully it is nothing, but it should be looked at.

I did tell my doctor and all he did was feel and press under my arms and said I don't feel anything
and the Pet Scan doesn't show a problem nor did the blood test show anything. I am wondering right now it just could be so small or the cancer is just starting up again and my body is picking it up and I am feeling sore. Has anyone else face this problem?

I told my doctor and he exaimed me and didn't find anything he also took another look at the recent Pet Scan and blood work and said nothing is showing any signs of lymphoma. Could it be a sign of cancer coming back but the doctor is unable to discover it because it is so small. Why should I feel so unconfortable!
