I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I hope that the week of no Letrozole will be the answer, and that your trial week will pass quickly. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.

I do have bone and lung mets I also had shoulder pain I had a normal X-ray result but when the pain continued after several steroid injections I had a MRI which showed a complete rotator cuff tear. Tears do not show up on a regular X-ray so getting the MRI is a good plan. Sometimes working with physical therapy will give some relief. Also Letrozole will make your joints ache. Hope you get answers soon and some pain relief.

      Lori,
I have no experience in this, but did attend a cancer survivorship seminar over the weekend.
One of the presentations was "Cancer Rehab", presented by a wonderful physical therapist.
She stated that many women treated for breast cancer with radiation or surgery experience pain after treatment caused by radiation fibrosis or surgical scarring (can occur many months or years after treatment). She stated most women experiencing this pain immediately think "Oh no! The cancer is back." If all imaging is negative, perhaps a physical therapy evaluation and treatment would be helpful. She advised going to a therapist in a cancer rehab practice (if unable to find, she recommended looking for a therapist with experience in lymphedema, not the same problem but with similar specialty training).
