Other Care (CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine)): I am a firm believer in helping my body heal itself. I meditate daily, I am doing yoga, I walk 3 miles a day. I eat so many fruits and veggies for their high anti-oxident ingredients. I take lots of suppliments that are shown to be anti-oxident and anti-cancer. I have done alot of research on this. I also am a firm believer in naps and having a loving community surround you with love and prayers. And of course the positive attitude is key. I wish all us a return to health.

Hi, we are similiar.....I am a bit your senior , 63.....but I am female and dx in Feb 2012 as well. I too had surgery, radiation and Temador. (which I am still on the maintence level of 5 out of 28 days a month) I have been doing mediation, yoga, walking 3 miles a day, taking suppliments and I feel very energetic and very good most days. But I love naps as too!!
Don't you wonder where this stuff came from?? I think I had hit my head with a fall and it bruised my brain????? My doctors say no one knows, but I wonder...

Hi, I am a female, 63 and was diagnosed 8 mos ago with GBM, I had surgery to remove the tumor, 42 days of radiation, 42 days of chemo (Temador) and am now doing the 5 out of 28 day regime of chemo for a long long time since I will be around for many many years.....too much to do in this life yet.
I also meditate, do yoga, take suppliments, exercise and nap when able. Do you have any other tips for good health?
    Have you had any setbacks?
What type of active treatment were you doing up until 5 years ago?
I would appreciate any advice etc, you could give.

    Thank you! Clarine

I would be interested in hearing your journey, as we are similar.....in our 60's, female, dx of GBM 6-8 months ago.
I had surgery to remove my tumor, took 42 days of radiation and Temador. I am now on maintence T, 5 days out of 28 a month, probably for the rest of my LONG life to come!
I feel terrific. I hope you do also. Please connect with me.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I took 42 days of Temador during my 42 days of radiation. Temador is by mouth and from home....so easy. Once I took the anti-nausia meds with it daily, I have no effects. Now I take Temador, 5 days out of 28 a month....probably for the rest of my life. Not a problem,easy....and I am going to have a long life!! So there GBM...
