Decision Point: We are headed back to Houston tommorrow for my husbands MRI. They have to put him under anesthesia because he cannot lie flat anymore ever since they did the last surgery. We are praying the tumor hasn't come back and the edema has gone down. What a change in him in the last 2 weeks. He is so hardheaded sometimes! It's frustrating watching him fight so hard to keep getting knocked down. We're hoping and praying to God that this trip will be good news. If not he'll have to decide to either have yet another surgery or to let this heartless beast try and beat him. We can only pray for the best right now.

Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): In 2007 a sinus infection ended up being throat cancer. My husband beat the throat cancer with radiation and a laryngetomy. He wound up with a new throat and voice box. Then in 2009 he was feeling great, went for a routine check up and they found cancer in his left lung that was inoperable. He underwent radiation and chemo for it. The cancer had taken a rest and he was feeling great. He even bought a new tiller and made him a garden. While picking tomatoes out of the garden he had a seizure and we knew something was wrong. He was rushed to the local emergency room and with an mri they found a 2 cm. tumor on his brain. The cancer had come back. This time though it was different. This time we do not have too many answers. He has since had two craniotomies and the cancer is causing all kinds of medical complication. He is a fighter though.
