Last Saturday I made my family happy by finally have a complete breakdown over my diagnosis. I'm always a "Glass half full" girl and they all knew it was going to be a matter of time before I just let it out. My husband was amazing and just held me while I let it all out, now I'm back to myself. Then on Monday I had my follow-up with my surgeon and talking to my Oncologist/Genetic doc about everything. Today I will meet with the Oncologist that is closer to my home (since my other doctors about over an hour away) and she will let me know when I will start Chemo and when I will get my port.

Thank you. I do drive about 25 minutes to work and 20 minutes to the hospital. However, I drive a manual vehicle so either side is going to be tricky.

It's good to have that release and it's great you have the support at home as well! I have my port on the left and have no issues with the seat belt and driving. I also have a pad that fits around the seat belt that the oncologist office gave me but I don't use it too much. Hope everything else goes well for you.

Glad you got the chance to let it blow. I am always the completely full glass type, but my last dx, 3rd, was like a bad joke on me, I had a day or two like that too. Glad you're past that point now and can move on. Keep fighting and stay at least "half-full".
