Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): It was only two weeks ago that I had a clear PET scan. Well, there were a few questionable "shadows" that were of little concern to my medical team.

The bad news came yesterday when I went for a stent replacement and an intraversible mass in my duodenal bulb made access to the biliary stent impossible. So a stent was placed THERE, in the hope that the biliary stent can be accessed in a few weeks.

I am terrified, and have not shared the degree of my fear with my husband, as I'm sure he feels his own. Has anything like this happened to anyone?

      Dear Lummiepie,
How are you doing? I've been thinking about you and hope your stent situation has improved. Time can be healing, one day at a time.....

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I began treatment last week and was afraid. But had no side effects and it was done in a loving environment in our small mountain hospital. Even a massage and a delicious lunch! I do not feel sick and wonder when that will start and what it will feel like. My diagnosis is stage two, and it has not metastasized. I consider myself lucky in this regard.
