Hello. My name is Lynae. I'm a stage 4 ovarian cancer patient. Currently in remission for the second time. If you have questions on how or what your friend is going through, or need th chat, I'm here. I just had my last treatment. I can tell you how she feels. She should sign up at chemoangels.org. They help a lot with keeping the spirits uplifted. They send letters and gifts, cards. You're not expected to write back.

You will get through this. Also, go to chemo angels on the computer. This helped me out tremendously. They write to you. I think it's chemo angels.org?

Kelly, I meant the wine is before your blood draw, and only when you start having problems with a low white cell count.

I am stage four ovarian cancer. I am a survivor. My CA125 is at 4. When I was diagnosed it was over 6,000. I had prayer chains going through my friends and friends on FB. I STAYED AWAY FROM ANY NEGATIVITY. No news on tv, or the paper. I let my friends know on FB, Facebook. I was constantly flooded with inspirational and happy thing. Stay away from antioxidant food or supplements. They interfere with the drugs. That's what my onocologist told me. I did that. Always stay happy. And don't overdo physical activities. Do one thing that's most important. Then quit. When my white blood cells were too low, I drank Chardenay the day before my next blood draw. It sent my white cell count UP. my chemo nurse asked me what I was doing. I told her that I drink white wine before chemo. We talked a little loud so other chemo patients could here. It worked for me. Just go with it, take your nausea pills like you're supposed to. Drink a little white wine. Chardenay.
