Procedure or Surgery (Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)): In 2001 I had the colon cancer back again. This time it was at the splenic flexure, I had all but about 10" of my colon removed as I had found through genetic testing, I had the lynch syndrome. Of my mom's 8 kids, 4 of us have the gene. One of my 2 children has the gene. I have bouts of incontinence even with lomotil medication. I wear pads at all times
