Hi Mamaguerra, welcome to the site. I read your experiences and I am sorry you are having to continually battle this disease. It takes a toll both mentally and physically. I came to WhatNext in 2013 after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This is a great site for information and resources and most of all support. WhatNext is a community of caregivers and cancer survivors all here to help each other. Look the site over, especially the blogs and videos
I think too you would benefit from another site I belong to on Facebook called Sisterhood of Ovarian Cancer Survivors. This is a closed group consisting of onlyfemale caregivers and ovarian cancer survivors . Sometimes we ladies need to ask very personal questions best shared with other ladies. The site has hundreds of survivors, many in your age group and many , as you, going through recurrences and on maintenance therapy. Just ask to join, tell your story if you would like. Also there are no screen names.
I hope you will be a regular visitor to both sites. Helping others and helping yourself at the same time. Wishing you better days ahead .

Hi WhatNexters. Last night Redding California received about five inches of snow. What a winter surprise. I know this is small potatoes to you hardy mid west and easterners but it has been several decades since it has snowed this much where I live. Should be all gone tomorrow since a warm front is moving in, but I am enjoying the beauty of it all while it lasts.

I am with you, Lynne-I-Am. I always wish for some snow. It has been several years since we have had any and more than several since we had any of consequence.

I do like the way we get snow here though, when we get it. It comes. It stays a few days. It goes.

Lynne I lived in Yuba City from[phone number redacted]. Somewhere in that period we had one of the coldest years on record. It snowed 3 or 4 inches in Yuba City and more on the two buttes. My daughter was a member of Key Club and they saw a money making opportunity to raise funds. So they had sweatshirts with Daffy Duck skiing the Buttes. I am going to unpack that shirt and wear it in your honor.

Ha, ha. Thanks BoiseB. If I did not know better I would say you had something to do with bringing the snow here, but I know you have your hands full with the snow up in Washington. @LiveWithCancer, yes I agree with you about seeing the beauty of the snow, without the hassle of having to shovel it.

Hi there, I guess you are home now, safe and warm. I joked with BoiseB about her bringing that Idaho snow with her to Washington when she moved. She agreed that snow tends to follow her around. You people have been slammed with snow this year as have the Sierra here in California. No worries for a drought this summer at least. Anyway, liked your hospital picture and I am glad your surgery is in the rear view. Now your going forward to healing and physical therapy . Still keeping my fingers crossed for a great result . Sending my wheelbarrows of support your way.
