My cancer is untreatable.I have had endoscopic surgery and removed three tumors, however, there is a tumor behind my right ear and is inoperable because it is too close to the cartroid artery. They are afraid I may have a stroke or bleed out. It is a slow growing cancer. I have never been physically ill. We have searched for clinical trails and not available. Maybe something has come uo within the last two years that I don't know about. Thanks

Hello, I have lived with CUP for 4 years now and it is so frustrating and frightening. They have not yet found the origin of mine and right now nothing has popped up in a while, but I had to go several years while they watched a few lymph nodes. My cancer seems to be like yours in that it is slow growing when it is active. I also lean on my faith in God as that is often what has gotten me through a hard day. I am so sorry you are going through this diagnosis. I will pray for you and you can contact me anytime you would like :) God bless you.

I had radiation right after surgery. The Drs. thought it would kill the cancer cells rele during the surgery. However, it had little effect on the tumor. Now my jaws are sore from the radiation as it can cause lock jaw. It ruined my sinuses and I have to rinse every day. Alson with my hearing. The eustasion tube was ruined during surgery. It was repaired, however the hearing is very bad in my left ear.

I had a great surgeon. He had 223 surgery's under his belt. It was endoscopic surgery where they go up through the nose and go wherever they have to. Loma Lind is a great Cancer Hospital. I can't say enough. I had 6 hrs. of surgery the first time and 2 hrs. the second time. I was in the hospita 30 hrs. the first time and one day the second time. My Drs. name is Dr. Chang. He is an ENT Dr.
