Ive been taking tamoxfin for 2 1/2 years.I had questions and concerns.I have reactions to some meds and worried the same problems could happen with tamoxifin. So far no problems. I have a friend who was Stage 3 and still living after 18 years. She chose a lumpectomy with Stage 3 and doing good. She took tamox for the 5 years and something else another 5 years. My doctor stressed to me "Everyone's Different. We must make our own decision. Hoping it's the right one.

I have been taking Tamoxifen for a year in October. I also had questions. Everyone is different. I have had night sweats and that's about it. I'm wondering what your decision was...as this was an old question. If you went natural root what was it??

In a few months I'll be crossing the path into possible Tamoxifen. I'm wondering if anyone has used alternative, natural therapy and what their results are (good and bad). Thank you!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I didn't feel like "me" at all during the first 1/2 of chemo which was a bit depressing.

I also had a Bi-lateral mastectomy and a DIEP flap reconstruction. I do not have to take tamoxifen, chemotherapy or radiation. But I would love to touch base and work through the changes in our bodies and the emotional and psychological part of recovery. I am momofivedcisbc, feel free to e-mail or connect. I hope you are feeling a little better. I am two months past my September 18, 2012 surgery. Physical therapy is going well and my nipple reconstruction will happen January 2, 2013. Hope to hear from you soon.
