Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Chemo #7 of 12 is done. Added magesium and calcium to help with the neuropathy (spelling?) Did help with the duration and intensity of the numbing. Otherwise super super tired.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Doing chemo #6 of 12. I am at the half-way point and could not be happier. My WBC count went from 4.4 to 6.6 so I was able to continue on schedule. I am keeping a very organic diet and trying to do everything right. It is nice to have a happy day - even though I am hooked up to an infusion pump. Oh-well it could always be worse!

Celebration (CEA Results): I completed 5 of 12 chemo treatments and my Onc ordered the CEA (because I kept asking). My pre-surgery CEA was 7.0, my post surgery with 5 chemo treatments is 0.08. Which is very good. It is nice t get good news while riding on the cancer roller coaster.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Finished 5 of 12 chemo treatments for stage 3 colon cancer. #6 is on Monday. The hardest thing to manage are the side effects. I am very lucky because mine did not spread.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Chemo #2 of 12. Had difficulty getting a blood draw back in the port so heparin was used, no luck, then tpa - it worked. Later in the evening I developed a fever that went to 103.1F. Very high for a chemo pt. Was admitted to hospital, no infections were found anywhere so we believe it was a reaction to the tps which is a biologic drug - which could cause that reaction. I did not sleep for 3 days. Getting ready for #3 of 12 in 2 days with fingers crossed and many prayers.
I also statred with the cold sensitive issues and "pins and needles" in hands and feet.
