Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I had four treatments of Adriamycin and cytoxan every 3 weeks. They made me flu like for 8 to 10 days after each treatment, very fatigued. I did manage to work most of the time.
I am now taking 12 weekly treatments of Taxol they have been easier to tolerate. Do not have the flu like symptoms, but fatigue is always there and bowels are a riot.

Decision Point: My decision point to take chemo was when my oncotype score came back a 37 it was a no brainer

Procedure or Surgery (Lumpectomy): I had a lumpectomy on 4/6/11 with lympectomy of 23 nodes. My surgeon did not prepare me for the drain, nor did he tell me that I would have numbness in my arm from my elbow to my shoulder with burning pain, that does not go away.
