It's a fairly new drug. I would be interested to know about it, as well. Been wondering about it.

Yes I did 6 months after the mastectomy
I've had 3 revisions (last one with a new ps). I just had a lat flap on the cancer side so when everything settles down I may have one more revision if needed when I have my nipple reconstruction. I've had more surgeries than most because I changed P'S when I found out I could get better results than my 1st ps gave me. -

Margee, there is a scar down the center, under the nipple, and around the areola. I had it done 8 months ago and it looks pretty good. It is an improvement over the former size and shape. After I began taking hormone blocker the breast drooped even more, so glad to have the revision. The scars become white lines over time. (I've had a few former surgical biopsies). At this point I am almost balanced and have gotten positive feedback from my Drs. It is OK because they are female and can be more honest. I have a good PS. I was off last summer and it took a month to recover but then it always takes longer than they tell you. Not sure if you are deciding to have this procedure only or debating a diep flap surgery.

Id_105: Thank you so much for the information. I have been debating on having this procedure for about a year. I am apprehensive about more surgery and scars. I have a scar across the implant and one from the port, but it would be nice to be more balanced. I appreciate you input. Take care of yourself!
