Celebration (Remission): In 2004 I went back to the University and I have to say it was good to feel and look "normal" again. My last session of chemotherapy was on november. Everything was good with my body.

Side Effects (Other): I still have dark marks in my sking, no matter how many creams or dermatological treatments I use they are still with me. I've learn to live with them. My thyroid gland was affected by the treatment so now I have to take medicine. Also, I have to take medicine to control my hormones.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): With the chemotherapy I lost a lot of weight, my hair, my stomach was very sensitive. I had to change my diet eliminating fats, flours, sugar, acid, and basically I throw up everything I ate after the chemo session was over. I had shivers and dark marks appeared on my skin, they are still with me.

Procedure or Surgery (Abdominal hysterectomy): At first the doctors thought I had just one tumor in one of my ovaries but when the surgery went on they discovered that each ovary had a tumor. They had to remove both ovaries, but I kept my uterus. The scar was reali painful because they had to take samples of tissues and organs thank God the tumor had not spread throug my body. The tumors found in my ovaries were malignant.
