So sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I was diagnosed with throat cancer stage IV in 2007. I had aggressive chemo and radiation therapy and was in remission until I was diagnosed with a tumor on my tongue in 2014. Surgery and chemo took care of that one, for now. Side Effects (Anemia (low red blood cell counts)): Had many side effects from chemo and radiation treatments. Lost my hair. My throat was so sore I couldn't eat solid food for over 6 months. I had low red and white blood cell counts after each round of chemo. Other side effects included chemo brain, dry mouth, anxiety, insomnia.
