Procedure or Surgery (Biopsy): I went to 15 doctors because I had severe pain in my back and I was put through every test imaginable for 4 months. Then months later, I had so much pain when I sat down and was told it was just an anal tag and they are 99,9% benign. NO biopsies were suggested even when I had vulva cancer 7 years prior. The 2 cancers have a relationship and not one doctor, even the colon rectal surgeon at Sloan Kettering suggested a biopsy. It was so crazy! I said to my surgeon either you remove this anal tag or I am going to the emergency room to have anyone do it. I was then referred to a doctor at St. Lukes Roosevelt from Sloan Kettering (even being a patient there for years) if I still continued to have pain. I went and said I need this tag removed and he said ok come back tomorrow and is exactly what I did. When the biopsy results came back, this doctor was in shock and said he could not believe that Sloan Kettering missed this......This is when my journey began!

OMGosh. This is so horrible. I showed the tumor to a plethora of doctors who all assured me it was just a hemmerrhoid or wart for 13 moth****ering years. It wasn't until I broke a big toe and gained weight as I healed .. the tumor grew with the rest of me and finally someone agreed to remove it because it was uncomfortable to walk.

I'd no idea doctors were so stupid and careless with everyone. I thought it had just been me.

Do you have any after effects? I was same stage as you. I am geeklingat yahoodot com if you wish to discuss this further and in more relative privacy. Thank you and I am glad you are alive.
