Radiation (External radiation ): I went through 33 sessions of radiation. I had no reaction other than some redness on the day that my chemo and radiation were both the same day and I was about 3/4 the way through with radiation. They narrowed to target sight down for about 1 week until the redness was reduced and then went back to the original method.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I had 4 sessions of a combo drug and 4 session of another drug. My reaction to the 1st combo drug was sleeping all day on the 3rd and 4th days. I had some anxiety during this time that affected my sleep and had to be put on medication to help. With the last 4 sessions, they had me on taxatier which caused a skin reaction on my hands. The palms looked like they were badly sunburned and stung when I washed them. The palms then peeled off in large sheets. This whole process took about 6 weeks. I was taken off of taxatier after the first session and put on taxol for the last three session. I did much better on this drug while being a little tired after treatments but with no other reaction.
