I am in the same boat (almost)-never smoked and diagnosed Sept. 1 with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer- no symptoms other than slight cough. Started chemo last week (won't operate because its in both lungs). Wanted to work two more years (school teacher) but now will retire to focus on fighting this. I went to doctor and asked for a chest x ray because I didn't want to return to school with this cough. I always had mamos, paps, etc. - why don't they routinely screen women for lung cancer???? I was right there on the x-ray-in both lungs!!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Three days of joint pain, then bounced back pretty well after first round of chemo. I hope future treatments are no worse.
