Definitely talk to your MD about this. it could also be tumors in his brain causing this paranoid behavior. Nevertheless, they may be able to give him medications to help manage the paranoia and anxiety.

Maybe some relaxation exercises like deep breathing, guided imagery or progressive relaxation could help too? It will also help him rest better.
