Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): my lung cancer surgery in 2012, 6 weeks ago, was so easy compared to 2008. I have had almost no pain, and the greatest fear I had was needing oxygen after since I have now lost both the upper right and upper left lobes...but I can walk at almost normal pace 8 to 10 blks with my dog with little problem. I have almost no limitations....is awesome. No chemo required this time either

Oh No (Diagnosed): When I had the diagnosis of NHL they were checking to see if the spot that had "lite up" in the pet scan was lung cancer since it had been 4 yrs since my lung cancer was found. It turned out to not be lung cancer, a good thing, but was NHL. Turned out I did have another spot in my left lung which I had lobectomy done 6 wks ago, and the plan is to "watch" the NHL since I have no symptoms at this time. So, the second tumor in my lung has been removed, first one in 2008, and thats great, but now have to be concerned about "when and if" the NHL I end up having treatment for that....but I believe I am lucky to have found both lung cancer tumors in very early stages and now the NHL seems to be early as well.
