Is anyone taking Xeloda or Tykerb?

I understand Tykerb targets Her2 in a pill form, I was on Herceptin. I've read that "super Herceptin" known as tdm-1 is extremely effective, even in women previously treated with Herceptin. I believe an application has been submitted to the FDA, but in the meantime you could sign up for clinical trials?

I was on Xeloda, 3 tablets morning and 3 tablets evening along with daily radiation. Side effects were very minimal compared to things I've read others go through. Eating was a bit of a problem, nothing tasted good and the smell of cooking food brought on nausea. Bland food (mashed potatoes) was best for me. Also sucking on peppermint hard candy helped. Have been off for 3 weeks now and slowly returning to normal eating habits.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I am curantly on two oral chemos, Tykerb and Xeloda and once a month I get a shot of Xgeva. The Xgeva makes me feel like I got hit by a truck for a few days after. The side efects from the Xeloda that I have is the hand and feet drying out and blisting. By the second and third week I have to take a nap to get me through the day. I take Lysine to help with the dry mouth and mouth sores.
