I had to gain 20 lbs so treatment could begin. I was too small to survive. They gave me 3 weeks to gain the weight or forget about it- fast moving rare cancer. That was after the doctor found me-altogether 4 weeks.

Two month wait for my last diagnosis before I could see the oncologist. Then it was a couple weeks before surgery, another month before the second surgery, then another month before radiation.

a month between diagnosis and surgery, then a month between surgery and chemo. I found the waiting for treatment to begin very difficult due to fear of the unknown. Once it was underway I felt much more relaxed.
