    miabearfan shared an experience

Celebration (Finished treatment): Reports indicate that they got all the CA with the surgery and I do not need Chemo or radiation at this point. My doctor said the odds of re-occurance or spread is less than 1%, so I feel like I dodged a bullet. Will now just focus on continuing to heal from my surgery which has been tough in some ways - and just working on ways to deal with the menopause symptoms. Thanks to all who have supported my questions and provided feedback, love and prayers.

Hello; Welcome to the site. I have found a lot of good information here, I hope you do too. Seems like you have had an up and down roller coaster ride the past 12 months. Positive thoughts your way and I know many folks here can offer much feedback on experiences that may enlighten or encourage you. Aloha, M

Taking Tamoxifin so having the whole sweating thing. DHEA in a vaginal preparation helps with the dryness. Cotton sheets with a high (over 300) thread count helps with sleeping at night. And here is one I can't explain - but so far it is working. I am on Optifast. Too heavy - all fat has estrogen - estrogen feeds tumors - so fat has to go. Don't know why - but no hot flashes.
