Other Care (Hospice): I have a hospice nurse come in once a week to take my vitals & check on me. Other than the cough and having to be on oxygen, I'm fine. I get around the house. I can still drive. I just can't "do" too much due to getting winded easily. I'm on 5 mg. oxycontin for the cough and xanax for the anxiety. As long as I don't get upset, I'm fine and comfortable and in no pain whatsoever. I'm very thankful for that.

Decision Point: I had to stop working around Thanksgiving due to my incessant coughing...which led to vomiting. I worked in foodservice, and I just couldn't do it any longer...no more strength.

Oh No (Cancer is back/Recurred ): Came back to the liver and lungs. 2nd round of chemo cleaned up the liver, but it continues to grow on both lungs.

Celebration (Finished treatment): Got a "certificate of completion" after I finished by first round of chemo---& I did it all w/o a port....but all my veins were messed up after that.

Side Effects (Constipation): Most people get the squirts from chemo, but I had to get constipated! Because of that, I had to have a hernia repair operation after one year.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I'm glad that I didn't have to lose my hair; and I only threw up maybe twice.
